Visiting Hours
Beginning Wednesday, October 21, visiting hours at LRMC are from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily, and will be strictly enforced. During this flu season, we are taking appropriate precautions to care for patients, while working to prevent transmission of illness to other patients, visitors, and our health care team. With that in mind, the following visitor guidelines have been put in place:
- Visitors who are sick will not be allowed to visit.
- Children under the age of 18, except those receiving treatment, will not be allowed to visit. This includes siblings in our Labor and Delivery, Maternity Suites, NICU and Pediatrics.
- Visitors who are sick will not be allowed to visit.
Tours of our maternity areas have also been suspended.
In addition, people coming to the hospital emergency department to receive treatment for themselves should avoid bringing children with them, for their own health and safety.
All visitors are aksed to practive proper hand hygiene by washing hands with soap or water or using hand sanitizer upon entering and leavin patient rooms. Hand sanitizing stations are also located by all elevators, in the Parkview Cafe, and throughout other public areas of the medical center.
The new visitor guidelines are designed to ensure patients and the staff caring for them stay as healthy as possible. Thank you for your consideration and cooperation.
