If you have a concern regarding care at Lakeland Regional Medical Center, we want to address the matter as soon as possible and encourage you to contact one of the following:
- If you or your loved one is still in the hospital, notify any hospital employee of your concern or ask to speak directly to the appropriate department manager/director.
- Or you may choose to contact LRMC’s Risk Management Department at (863) 687-1025 or the Patient Safety Officer at (863) 687-1100 ext 2360. All efforts will be made by the hospital to resolve your issue.

LRMC Kicks off WE ID Campaign
Patient Safety is our number one priority at Lakeland Regionl Medical Center. To that end, we have initiated the We ID campaign as a means to safeguard our patients.
The We ID process starts upon admission, when we request picture identification to verify the patient’s identity and confirm accurate personal information and the correct spelling of names. Then, prior to the receipt of each and every medication, transfusion or treatment; prior to the collections of each and every specimen; prior to each and every procedure; prior to each and every transport; prior to the filing of any medical records and during each and every communication about a patient’s results, treatment or orders, we confirm the full name and date of birth with the patient to ensure a match with the information on the identification band. In addition, we confirm a match of the patient identification band with the physician orders. This will ensure that we match the correct patient with the correct treatment or orders.
