Congratulations to Tonja Pacheco who was named employee of the month in October. Tonja has been a part of the Lakeland Regional fa
mily for more than 8 years and takes pride in her role as a print shop assistant, attending to the hospital’s daily printing needs, from critical patient forms to strategic plan booklets.
Pacheco has a strong reputation as a top-performer — although those who know her says she shies away from the spotlight. Her customers say she is always friendly, professional and focused on producing quality outcomes.
“Tonja has an incredible work ethic and she demonstrates integrity in everything she does,” said Victor Rodriguez, former Lakeland Regional purchasing director.
“I got to know Tonja through the PEARL project, and I can attest to the fact that she is a woman of integrity. Even if it meant working nights and weekends, she made sure we always had what we needed for the classroom,” said Valonne Hulzebos, RN, BSN, PEARL training team leader.
On a personal level, Tonja is known as a doting mother and best friend to many. Congratulations, Tonja, and thank you for your unwavering dedication over the years.
