At Lakeland Regional, our mission is to provide exceptional healthcare. So that our staff may do so, and for our patients’ safety, it is important that patients remain on the clinical unit to which they are admitted. That way, patients can be sufficiently monitored and may receive care when it is necessary.
LRMC is committed to our patients, and we acknowledge all aspects of patient care. If a patient is hospitalized for a prolonged period of time, upon physician approval, the patient may be escorted by LRMC staff to the hospital chapel, lobby or outside. Please note that if patients leave their clinical areas for personal reasons outside of their treatment plans, this will be considered leaving against medical advice, and patients may be discharged.
Lakeland Regional is here to offer the community the highest quality care possible. Thank you for your cooperation, as we remain steadfast in providing the best possible care to our patients.
