Hats off to Suzanne Roustio, RN, who was recently named Lakeland Regional’s manager of the quarter. Suzanne has
been a part of the LRMC family for 17 years and serves as the trauma nurse manager on 4 E/W. Suzanne leads an engaged team of individuals who are dedicated to providing exceptional care to patients.
Suzanne is a hands-on leader who is passionate about delivering exceptional health care. At every opportunity, Suzanne integrates Lakeland Regional’s values into her work and dedicates herself to help others learn and grow.
“I greatly treasure Suzanne’s leadership in so many ways. She is constantly seeking feedback, always striving to be the best at what she does. No matter the challenge or circumstance, she has never once waivered in her commitment to Lakeland Regional,” said Carrie Ogilvie, DNP, ACNS-BC, CCRN; Director of Critical Care and Trauma Services.
“From the first moment I met Suzanne, I knew there was something very special about her. She is such a wonderful nurse and a good person,” said Darlene Starling, RN, BSN, MSA, Director of Nursing.
Among Suzanne’s personal goals are to learn to speak Spanish and participate in a mission trip. In the future, she also wants to teach nursing at a local college and continue to grow in her role at Lakeland Regional.
Suzanne enjoys spending time with her family and friends, and those who know her also know about her granddaughter, Ava. Suzanne is extremely active and says she is always up for a trip to the beach, horseback riding, baking and gardening.
