Congratulations to Leanne Beatty, RN, BSN, on being named LRMC’s December employee of the month.
Leanne began working at LRMC in 1987 and currently serves as the Operations Support Coordinator for the Quality, Patient Safety and Accreditation Department. Leanne is known for her dedicated efforts in managing LRMC’s protocol of care, physician orders development and database management.
“Leanne is extremely detailed-oriented. She quietly goes about her work with such passion and takes great pride in everything she does,” said Kathy Hunt, MSN, RN, director, Professional Nursing Practice.
“She is one to hold others accountable, and she always makes our organization look good,” said Wanda McManus, BSN, Manager/Patient Safety Officer
Those who work with Leanne also say she is a joy to be around — extremely witty and not afraid to play a practical joke on a co-worker.
“I have the pleasure of sharing an office with Leanne; she is such a jokester. She is so much fun to be around and I can think of no one more deserving of this honor,” said Carolyn Halvorsen, RN, Department of Quality Management.
Leanne also serves as the advisor for both the Professional Nursing Procedure Standards Council and the Professional Nursing Protocol Development Council.
In her spare time, Leanne enjoys spending time with her family and friends. “I also enjoy curling up with a good book and relaxing at the beach,” said Leanne.
