Congratulations to Beverly Lasseter for being named Lakeland Regional’s employee of the month in April. Beverly has been a dedicated employee for more than 30 years and is known for her compassion, dedication and tremendous integrity.
“Beverly has given her life to Lakeland Regional. She is the go-to-person if you want a job done right and she always carries herself with a smile,” said Silvia Falcon, MHAR and Palliative Care Director. As a certified patient care assistant for our mental health services department, Beverly takes great pride in caring for patients. She often takes vital signs, assists during meals and baths, changes bedding and listens to their concerns.
“Beverly is one to fight for her patients. She is a role model for others and makes those around her feel valued,” said Karla Benton, RN, WTL.
In addition, Beverly diligently serves as a health unit coordinator, conducting orders, drawing labs, preparing nurses to “check off” and assisting patients during the transport process.
“Beverly is one of those teammates that you can go to for anything. She knows everything, and beyond that, I admire her for who she is deep within,” said Sharon Jacob, RNBC, Mental Health Services.
Although she has been at Lakeland Regional for three decades, Beverly looks forward to her future and the new challenges in the years ahead.
“I want to continue to work for many years to come, providing the highest quality of care to my patients. I am determined to learn all I can to fulfill this goal,” said Beverly.
In her spare time, Beverly enjoys fishing, working outside in her garden, painting and crocheting. She also loves to spend time with her family and her two dogs.
Beverly continually demonstrates Lakeland Regional’s values of integrity, courtesy, stewardship and care. Congratulations, Beverly, and thank you for your unwavering dedication.
