In support of its mission to promote lung health to the community, to prevent lung disease and to improve the quality of life for adult and pediatric patients in the community, Lakeland Regional Medical Center’s Respiratory Care Services Department will host its first Lung/Health 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, October 23, 2010 at Lake Hollingsworth.
Registration will begin at 7 a.m., and the start time of the Run/Walk is 8 a.m. Registration will be located on the south side of the lake, next to the Lakeland Yacht & Country Club. In addition, a health fair will be held from 7 to 10 a.m.
To register before the event, please visit www.lrmcfoundation.com and complete the appropriate form. The registration fee prior to October 23 is $20 and includes a race t-shirt. Participants may also register at the race for a fee of $25.
Medals will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers.
