Lakeland Regional Medical Center invites the public to attend Matters of the Heart on Friday, February 26 from 2-4 p.m. at Highlands Park Church of the Nazarene, 4777 Lakeland Highlands Road. A health fair will be held prior to the program from 1-2 p.m.
Attendees will hear from physicians Luis E. Carrillo, M.D. of Clark and Daughtrey, and J. Scott Swygert, M.D. of Watson Clinic. Dr. Carrillo will speak on Interventions for Heart Failure and Dr. Swygert will speak on Living with Heart Failure. Attendees will also hear from Diane Wilson, RN, CHPN, on Advanced Care Planning and Teresa Cheesman, RN, on Managing Heart Failure at home.
Andrea Oliver of Hall Communications will be the emcee for the afternoon.
