Congratulations to the March Employee of the Month Debbie Cunningham, Risk Management Administrative Support!
Debbie provides administrative support to the director and three risk managers. She manages the front desk and greets customers. In addition, Debbie handles payroll, lost property claims, RiskMaster incident reporting, patient complaints and assists with claims.
“She has the uncanny ability to make everyone feel like their call or question is very important,” Dr. Sammer read from Debbie’s nomination form. “Debbie is the front door to Risk Management. If she can take care of the situation, she does. She is the epitome of patient satisfaction.”
Since moving to Florida, Debbie has acquired two new activities she enjoys: working in her yard and fishing. In her spare time, she also enjoys music, going to concerts, the beach and spending time with her family.
“In describing this person, most would think we were exaggerating,” Debbie’s nomination letter further explained. “She never says anything negative about work or her co-workers. She is a very positive person with an infectious smile.”
Professionally, Debbie hopes to understand the needs of her department in order to develop the skills for continuous improvement. She sees everything as an opportunity and tries to make the most of each situation.
“This is really a wow factor for me,” Debbie said. “When I first came to LRMC, I was amazed at how long some have worked here. It really is a great place to work.”
