Lakeland Regional Medical Center recently honored 25 nurses with “Excellence in Nursing” awards and two new nurses with “Rookie of the Year” awards. Each recipient was nominated by their manager and peers for exemplifying nursing excellence, quality caring and professional leadership. In addition, the honorees are known for displaying LRMC’s values of care, quality, stewardship, accountability, integrity and courtesy. These nurses go above and beyond as they represent excellence in their field and a commitment to clinical expertise.
