Congratulations to February’s Employee of the Month Thresa Follis, Imaging Informatics Administrator, Radiology!
Thresa works to support radiology systems, staff and physicians; completes data analysis for radiology information; and serves as a liaison between radiology and IT for system projects, upgrades and ongoing support.
“It used to be that a department would nominate a colleague,” said Mary Ford, Chief Information Officer. “But this time, the employee of the month’s nomination came from another department. We’re really starting to cross departmental lines.”
“I’ve known Thresa for 15 months, and she immediately partnered with me,” said Kim Pyles, Director Respiratory Care Services. “Thresa’s nomination came from the IS department. Thank you for your help to me and to this organization.”
In her spare time, Thresa enjoys spending time with her family and husband of more than 38 years and traveling to their home in Tennessee.
“Thresa, thanks so much for all you’ve done,” said Marty Tyler, IS Project Manager. “It’s been great working with you on the PACS project.”
Thresa completed her AS degree in Systems Analysis from PCC. She was also one of the first to become certified in imaging informatics and is a Certified Imaging Informatics Professional (CIIP). Currently, Thresa is working on her BS degree in CIS.
Thresa has been with LRMC for 39 years. Thank you, Thresa, for your tremendous dedication!
“I can’t think of anyone more deserving of this honor, said John Vankoolbergen, Supervisor, Nuclear Medicine. “You love a challenge. It’s an honor to work with you.”
Congratulations!
