On Saturday, September 15, Lakeland Regional Cancer Center hosted “Tee it Up for Men’s Health” — a golf and health fair event in which more than 160 men of all ages learned from the center’s world-class physicians about a variety of topics, including: prostate health, exercise, sexual health, colon care and more.
“If you look around the room today, probably one of the men at your table will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime,” said Graham Greene, MD, Urologic Oncologist at LRCC. “It’s important to get in the mindset of having annual physical examinations and taking charge of your health.”
David Greenwood, former NFL player, shared his cancer survival story. He reflected on the day he received a call from his doctor and learned he had prostate cancer. “I am thankful I found LRCC’s Dr. Bandyk and his team. They are the reason I am cancer-free today.”
