LRCC to Host Upcoming Programs for Cancer Survivors

Through its Survivorship Care Program, Lakeland Regional Cancer Center is pleased to present the following education programs to cancer survivors from throughout the community:

•     March 14 – “How to Live With Hope After Cancer” with Kathy Decker, BSW, Oncology Social Worker
•     April 11 – “Yoga for Wellness”
•     May 9 – “Light and Healthy Eating From the Garden” a cooking demonstration with local chef, David Hammer

These programs will take place from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at LRCC, located at 3525 Lakeland Hills Blvd in Lakeland. They are free and open to the public; however, registration is requested by contacting Jo Horrell at (863) 904-1851 or cindy.horrell@LRMC.com.

The purpose of LRCC’s Survivorship Care program is to meet the needs of survivors immediately following active primary treatment and to provide a smooth transition into the experience of survivorship. For more information about the program, please go to: www.LRMC.com/cancer-center.
