LRCC Physician To Serve as Liaison for the American Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Association

We are pleased to announce that Manuel Molina, MD, of Lakeland Regional Cancer Center, was invited to serve on the American Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Association (AHPBA) as an institution liaison.
The AHPBA is the largest society involved in dictating the management of diseases for the liver, bile ducts and pancreas. The group is comprised of hundreds of physicians raising the standards of care for patients. As the institution liaison, Dr. Molina will have the opportunity to facilitate the recruitment process of new members, as well as educate fellow physicians on the benefits of AHPBA.
Dr. Molina is a board-certified, fellowship trained, surgical oncology specialist with multi-area surgical expertise including melanoma, sarcoma, esophageal and other digestive cancer.
“It is an honor to be considered for this position, as it will keep LRCC in direct communication with the most up-to-date guidelines and trends for conditions and treatments,” said Dr. Molina.
