Lakeland Regional Cancer Center is proud to, once again, bring all of its services under one roof, fulfilling the vision that was created upon its opening in 2003. Doing so will allow patients to have all of their treatments and see all of their physicians in one place — the Cancer Center’s main campus, located at 3525 Lakeland Hills Blvd.
“Our commitment to our patients is our top priority; and we are confident that this expansion will afford them added convenience, quality of care and a continued environment of hope,” said Janet Fansler, Senior Vice President/Chief Nurse Executive/Chief Operating Officer, at the expansion’s June 5, 2011 ribbon cutting ceremony.
This state-of-the-art addition gives our facility 27,000 more square feet and will house physician offices, 26 exam rooms and special procedure rooms, bringing the total square footage to 63,755.
The expansion complements LRCC’s existing facilities, which include physician offices, 24 exam rooms, chemotherapy area, two linear accelerators and a radiation therapy simulator, on-site pharmacy and lab, special procedures room, cystology room, urodynamics room, a resource library, Starbucks, a boutique and healing gardens.
All of these advances and improvements are made with our patients, their families and this community in mind. We are dedicated to bringing the highest level of cancer care to the area. We hope it provides all who enter our doors with a tremendous level of confidence and comfort.
