Lakeland Regional is pleased to announce that, beginning September 1, patients and visitors will have expanded wireless capabilities throughout the hospital’s main campus. This expansion provides complete wireless coverage to all patient treatment areas and patient rooms. In addition, it provides increased speed and comprehensive geographical coverage.
“This expansion will not only help patients and visitors stay connected to family and friends while they are here, but it will also add needed support for hospital initiatives, such as the roll out of the next phase of our electronic health record, which will go live in October,” said Elizabeth Kerns, Lakeland Regional’s Chief Technology Officer.
