Lakeland Regional Medical Center invites the public to attend Matters of the Heart on Friday, February 11 from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church, 175 Lake Hollingsworth Drive in Lakeland. A health fair will be held prior to the program from 1:30 p.m. until 2 p.m.
Attendees will meet one of LRMC’s recent additions to the Heart Center Team – Barry L. Winton, MD, board-certified cardiac, thoracic and vascular surgeon will present to the audience. In addition, guests will hear from Douglas G. Ebersole, board-certified interventional cardiologist, as he shares his expert knowledge about Impella®, the world’s smallest heart pump; a percutaneous intravascular blood pump that supports a patient’s circulatory system.
Andrea Oliver of Hall Communications will be the emcee for the afternoon.
