Congratulations to Corrie Killingsworth, RN, an oncology-certified nurse on B6 who was recently named Lakeland Regional’s employee of t
he month. Corrie is a role model, always demonstrating LRMC’s core values and carrying out every initiative with excellence.
“Corrie goes above and beyond to fulfill her job duties and always does it with a positive attitude and a smile. She is a role model and a friend to us all,” said Norma Kelley, RN, BSN, manager B6.
“Corrie is a wonderful mentor to new nurses. I learned how to be an oncology nurse by watching her interact with patients,” said Shirley Willis, RN, BSN.
Corrie is dedicated to providing the best patient care and says she thoroughly enjoys her work at Lakeland Regional.
“I enjoy working with oncology patients and have great co-workers,” said Corrie.
Furthermore, Corrie is a leader among her peers, serving as the chairperson for the Unit Based Council and team captain for Lakeland Regional’s “Relay for Life” team. On a personal note, Corrie enjoys fishing, boating and swimming with her children and family.
