Congratulations Manager of the Quarter Terri Stonick

Wednesday, May 5 2010

Congratulations to the Manager of the Quarter Terri Stonick, DPT, MBA, CLT, CPC-H, Manager Outpatient Terri Stonick MOQRehabilitation Services!

Terri delivers care to patients of the Lakeland Regional Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine Clinic, while providing leadership and direction to an “amazing collection of rehab professionals,” as she stated.

“In all my 13 years, Terri is the best therapist I have ever seen,” Tony Garcia, Director of Rehabilitation Services, said. “To me, one of her best qualities is her ability to leverage the talents of those around her. She pinpoints and uses her staff’s talents to better themselves and this organization.”

“I joined the rehab department when there were just five of us, and it is amazing to see how much our department has evolved,” said Chastity Jackson, Insurance Specialist. “Terri, you are a visionary and an inspiration to our team.”

In her spare time, Terri enjoys boating, attending church, watching her three wonderful children find their ways in our world and engaging in fitness activities.

“One thing that stands out to me is your passion for excellence, service and quality; it’s always been consistent,” Hugh Autry, VP Operations, said of Terri. “It’s not only exhibited in you, it’s apparent in your staff and the culture you’ve created. It’s one of the reasons you are so well-deserving of this honor.”

Professionally, Terri hopes to continue delivering care that brings a true quality of life on the physical, mental and spiritual levels. Personally, she daily reminds herself to worry only about changing lives and works to surround herself with positive people. Her life goal is to have a “passion for compassion.”

“Terri is the champion of feedback and data,” said Cindy Sternlicht, Director, PR and Marketing Communications. “One of my favorite messages was about a patient who was referred to the clinic through marketing efforts and was doing well, and Terri said ‘the work of your team is helping patients find their way to the care they need to get better.’ That was powerful motivation for our team because we don’t usually have the opportunity to work with patients. It helped connect our work to the mission. To cross those lines and voice that connection is true leadership.”

Terri has been with LRMC for five years. She has a BS in Kinesiology, a Master’s and Doctorate in Physical Therapy, an MBA, Pilates and Lymphedema certifications and is working toward a management certification.

“The bottom line is that Terri is a testimony to LRMC’s values and behaviors,” Tony Garcia continued. “She is a model employee and human being.”

Terri, thank you for your dedication and service to Lakeland Regional. And congratulations again!
