Congratulations to Bobbi Brown, BS, RRT, Respiratory Care, for being named February’s employee of the month. Bobbi is a respiratory therapist, who has been a part of the LRMC family for more than 20 years. This dedicated employee works in LRMC’s Pulmonary Diagnostics Lab conducting pulmonary Function testing, treating patients and performing bronchoscopy procedures. Bobbi is known for her compassion, as she exceeds the highest standards of patient care every day.
“Bobbi is a patient advocate above anything else. She is the one I would want taking care of me or my family,” said Mark Carreno, CRTT, Respiratory Care Services Coordinator.
“Bobbi was instrumental in developing LRMC’s respiratory protocols, and as a result, students are amazed at what we do here. She is dedicated to learning and she imparts her wisdom to others. And above all, she does what it takes to treat her patients, and to make their lives better,” said Kim Pyles, AVP, former director of Respiratory Care.
Among Bobbi’s proudest professional achievements isgaining a B.S. in cardiopulmonary medicine, where she plans to continue her education. She currently teaches at Polk State College in the respiratory and cath lab programs.
In her spare time, Bobbi’s priorities are her mission work as a Jehovah’s Witness, and “loving on her husband and grandchildren.” She also enjoys sewing and making jewelry.
Congratulations, Bobbi!
