Michael A. Campanelli, D.O.
Michael A. Campanelli, D.O., who has been in practice in Polk County since 2000, is recognized for his neurosurgical skill in trauma cases and is an invaluable addition to Lakeland Regional’s Trauma Services Department. He also has a special interest in spine and spinal reconstructive surgery, including minimally invasive spinal surgery. He was the first neurosurgeon in Polk County to perform minimally invasive spinal reconstructive surgery. He is also highly adept at Brain Lab navigation for removal of complex brain tumors. In addition to his spinal and cranial expertise, Dr. Campanelli treats patients suffering from carpal tunnel syndrome.
Donald C. Sachs, M.D.
Donald C. Sachs, M.D., brings fellowship training and experience in complex spine management and disorders associated with aging. His passion focuses on stenosis, tumors, bulging discs, and back pain, as well as scoliosis. He is knowledgeable and adept at minimally invasive procedures, such as performing minimal decompressions of lumbar stenosis without touching muscle tissue.
Todd Lasner, M.D.
Todd Lasner, M.D., has brought 10 years of experience in neurosurgical practice to Lakeland. He attained his BS degree at Duke University, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa. He received his medical degree at Johns Hopkins University, where he achieved Alpha Omega Alpha (medical school honor society) distinction, and completed his neurosurgery residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Lasner is board certified in neurological surgery, and has previously practiced in Miami Beach as well as Pittsfield, MA, where he was also an Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery at the University of Massachusetts in Worchester, MA. While at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield, he received the “Most Patient-Centered Physician” award for the hospital in 2006. He has extensive experience in the treatment and surgery of degenerative conditions of the spine (spinal stenosis, disc herniations and instability) and spinal tumors. Dr. Lasner is also adept in the treatment and surgery of brain tumors, brain aneurysms and pituitary tumors. He has published extensively in medical journals and has presented his research at national meetings.
