About Us
A Tobacco Free Campus
Beginning January 1, 2010, all Lakeland Regional Medical Center facilities will be tobacco-free. The use of tobacco products of any kind, including cigarettes, cigars, pipes, chewing tobacco, etc., will not be allowed on any LRMC property, including parking lots and parking garages. Those wishing to use such products must completely leave LRMC-owned property. These locations include not just the main hospital campus, but outlying offices as well, such as Lakeland Regional Orthopedics Associates and Lakeland Regional Outpatient Rehabilitation on Harden Boulevard, LRMC Foundation offices on Kentucky Avenue, and all other off-site locations. Lakeland Regional Cancer Center has been tobacco-free since its opening.
